What to expect from veneer treatment
Dental veneers require at least two appointments, with much of the “magic” happening on the first visit. During the initial consultation, we’ll evaluate your teeth and oral health to ensure you are a fit for veneers. We’ll also discuss your goals to co-design your smile for personalized results.
The next step is to prepare your teeth by removing a small amount of the enamel, usually less than one millimeter, to accommodate the thickness of the veneer. After preparing your teeth, we take impressions of your teeth, which our master ceramists use to craft your customized veneers. Until your veneers are ready, we’ll place temporary veneers to give you a preview of the amazing smile that awaits you.
After two to three weeks, your porcelain veneers will be ready for placement. Our dentist may make a few adjustments to your restorations before using dental cement to bond them permanently to your teeth. That’s all it takes to transform your flawed smile with veneers. Dr. Balaji Srinivasan is inspired by the passion and purpose he discovers in dentistry and strives to provide his clients with exceptional services. He graduated from Drew University in Madison, New Jersey. He then attended Creighton University School of Dentistry in Omaha, Nebraska, and a residency program in Advanced General Dentistry at Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
In 1997, he established Madison Avenue Dental Associates, where he worked for ten years. He then established Aesthetic Dental Creations in Jackson, New Jersey, in 2008 and has not looked back since.
Dr. Srinivasan is an alumnus of the world-renowned Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Training. He has received specialized training in adhesive dentistry and smile design. Dr. Srinivasan is also very effective at treating migraine/headaches because of his expertise in neuromuscular(physiologic) dentistry. He has lectured to dentists at Monmouth Medical Center on various topics. You can count on him to make your dental visit as pleasant as possible!
